A free browser-based Minecraft skin converter. Convert between Steve (wide) and Alex (slim) skins with per-column control, or upgrade a legacy 64x32 classic skin to the modern 64x64 format. No account, no upload - your skin never leaves your browser.
How to convert a Minecraft skin online
Pick a mode - Wide to Slim, Slim to Wide, or Legacy 64x32 ↔ Modern 64x64 - then drop or upload a PNG. The converter runs the transformation in the browser and shows a before/after preview on a flat, front-facing character render so you can see exactly which pixel column will be added or removed. Click Download to save the converted PNG, ready to upload to Minecraft.
Wide (Steve) ↔ Slim (Alex)
The 4-pixel-wide arm gets one column removed to become 3-pixel-wide (or the other way for slim to wide). You choose which column - the tool shows all options at once so you can pick the one that keeps your character's shading intact.
Legacy 64x32 upgrade + downgrade
Upgrading a legacy skin doubles the canvas from 64x32 to 64x64, copies the right arm and right leg (horizontally flipped) into the new left arm and left leg regions, and zero-fills the new overlay regions (jacket, sleeves, pants). The hat overlay - the only overlay in the legacy format - is preserved.
Downgrading a modern skin drops the left arm/leg data (auto-mirrored in-game) and drops every overlay layer except the hat.
